We are proud of your accomplishments and we will be dedicated to helping you reach your educational goal.
American International Clinical Group prides itself in assuring that international medical students enjoy the opportunity of experiencing a U.S. clinical based medicine. By offering our service to them, we are opening new opportunities and new experiences for our international medical graduates.
The Clinical Rotation Program (CRP) is a foundation program designed solely for the International Medical Graduate (IMG). The CRP provides IMG’s with an overall clinical experience in primary care and an introduction to various sub-specialties. The CRP is primarily complimented with out-patient and in-patient rotations among our network of teaching assistance. This will allow you to receive clinical experience in your preferred specialty when applying for residency. This program focuses on externship and internship medical experience.
This program is ideal for those who wish to indulge in a very specific U.S clinical experience during a pre-set time frame. Whether you wish to start in a 6 week or a 12 week clinical rotation in a particular specialty, AICG will place you in the right place. AICG will help you design the right curriculum for any specialty based on your medical career goals.
Please contact us to ask about our Clinical Externship rates, as well as our 3, 6 and 12 month discounted comprehensive packages. Externships are scheduled in most major cities in the U.S. We will work with you to secure the location of your choice. Please ask us about availability in your desired area.
Please note that modifying a confirmed externship start date will incur a rescheduling fee. The application fee and externship payments are not refundable; however, the seat deposit will be refunded to you on your last externship invoice provided that the initial externship schedule is completed.
Externships need to be scheduled at least 2-4 weeks in advance depending on the specialty.
Our staff strives to make every possible effort to provide the greatest possible variety of clinical rotations for our foreign medical students. Please note that students are required to contact our staff at least 2 weeks prior to beginning each clinical rotation.
At 360 Clinical Placement Group, we value our students and our main purpose is not only to help them reach their educational goal, but to excel at it as well.
During clinical rotations, “pocket” books and handbooks may be helpful to you. You will basically be scanning these books for important notes about signs, symptoms, diagnosis, anatomy, treatment, etc.)
Always carry with you the appropriate supplies: pen/pencil, pad, penlight, stethoscope, reflex hammer, and of course your white coat.
Always strive to look presentable. Minimize piercings, jewelry, and anything that might be unprofessional.
Remember it doesn’t end after clinical rotations. You have much to look forward to including the USMLE and residency. So it’s a great idea to keep a notebook with you and take note of all the diseases/cases that you encounter every day.
Always follow the rules and regulations of the hospital during clinical rotations and always wear your identification tag.
Being prepared physically is not enough; you also have to be prepared emotionally and mentally. Be enthusiastic. You’ve made this far and you will succeed so be confident. Communicate respectfully and kindly with the staff and your fellow students. Be a team player.
If you encounter any problems during your clinical rotations our staff will always be available to help you in every possible way they can.
